My husband and I came to Europe (Ireland & UK) all the way from Maryland, USA for our 25th anniversary and, it was just as we had hoped. We wanted to see all of Ireland, so we booked a 6 day all-Ireland private tour with The Day Tour Company. We had already taken a tour the week previously in the UK and the busses were a bit more crowded than what we had expected, so we went with the private tour instead, just to be safe; worth it!

It was definitely a good choice. We had a long list of things we wanted to see and get done, but it was our anniversary, so we really didn’t want to have to worry about catching/missing busses and trains, running around with maps and getting lost etc. We simply wanted to get around and see it all with ease.  I couldn’t fault a thing with it, it all ran smoothly and we had the most amazing experience in Ireland.

Also, a thumbs up to our driver, who was great “craic” and got us around the country in comfort and safety.

We arrived in Dublin at the beginning of May and had planned to stay in the city for 7 days. But lots of people were telling us that we should also see other parts of Ireland, outside of Dublin. At the last minute we booked a 3 Day tour of the South and the next morning we were on our way. We were already staying in Paddy’s Palace hostel, so that made it even more practical as it was one of the pick-up points for the bus.

There were all ages and sorts on the bus and we ended up meeting another group of young students, who had a blast with over the 3 days and nights.

Thanks to Day Tour Company for making my stay in Ireland so memorable. I had no clear itinerary planned before arriving, but they sorted it all out and got me on a tour that covered all I wanted to see and get done. There was also lots of company on the bus and of course, plenty of people to have a pint of Guinness with! Would recommend to anybody who is thinking of going to Ireland.

I had been to Dublin two times before, but never actually got to get out and see any of the other cities that I had heard so much about. My family and I, 2 kids aged 14 and 17, took a 4 Day tour. I was worried that the two boys wouldn’t enjoy it, but they really had a great time.

Also, after seeing the little country roads of Ireland, I am so glad that we decided not to rent a car and just take a tour instead.

Had been planning and saving my trip of Ireland for a whole two years, so I wanted to have all my expectations met and the Day Tour Company did just that.

I left Houston, TX, arrived in Dublin during the day, took a tour of the city from my hostel with a Hop-on Hop-Off. Then the next morning I took the 9 Day tour of Ireland and it encompassed everything I wanted to see, no worries, all I had to do was sit back and enjoy – no need to worry about buying tickets, booking hostels and all of that, just get on the bus, sit back and enjoy.

After discovering this company from a friend who recommended it to me, I took his word and decided to book two one day tours, one to Belfast and one to the Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs of Moher was truly breath-taking and by far my favourite attraction have ever visited in all my years of travelling. The bus journey itself was comfortable, not too packed and the driver was was great – he had lots of stories, stopped off at some places to allow us to take advantage of the scenery and had the real Irish music playing the whole way there!!

Coming all the way from Australia, this was our one and and only opportunity to get to see Ireland, so we wanted to do it properly and The Day Tour Company helped us to do just that!

It was an easy process all the way through, from booking it online to arriving back at our hotel in Dublin.

So, I would like to express my gratitude to all those who helped make our time in Ireland as memorable and great as we had anticipated.

I took two tours during my recent visit to Ireland, and I had a fantastic experience both times!! On the Cork Day Tour that I took, we went to Blarney, Cobh, and Cork. My tour guide for this particular tour was HILARIOUS! He did such a great job of mixing storytelling with history, making every moment of the tour really enjoyable for me. I found the seats to be very comfortable, and the tour was so reasonable, I would dare say it was under priced. They also did a great job of giving us appropriate stops where there were clean bathrooms & food/drink for purchase throughout the day. Highly recommend Day Tour Company!!

I took my family on two tours, we visited the cliffs of Moher with one of the best and funniest drivers ever. Great stories, facts, history and the weather was perfect. I highly recommend it to all tourists visiting Ireland. For my point of View the Day Tour Company tours are a "Must do" if you visit Ireland... You are just brilliant guys, keep it up!

First I was wondering if one day would be enough to visit all those places. Finally, it was a really good day! We spent the right time in all the different places. The driver was very friendly, funny, and told us many stories about the history of Ireland with some interesting anecdotes. He also played some typical Irish songs and explained them.
I had a very good time discovering beautiful sites! In short, I highly recommend Day Tour Company!!

My husband and I have just returned, and it was a fantastic tour in itself with beautiful scenery, but Mike made it extra special. His knowledge of the area was amazing and he had answers for all our questions and nothing was too much trouble. As long as the guests were happy, Mike was happy. The customer service was fantastic from beginning to end. It only cost €35 for the whole day which in my opinion was excellent value. We are planning another trip to Cork later in the year and will definitely be booking another tour. If you are in two minds whether to book one, don't hesitate you will not be disappointed.

My family and I highly recommend this tour! We got to venture outside of Dublin and see more of the beautiful countryside that Ireland has to offer. It was by far a highlight of our trip. All of us felt that we had seen a lot and went home well informed. Although the tour itself was phenomenal, our tour guide really made our day. He kept us entertained on the bus with his cheesy jokes/ riddles/ songs and impressive historical knowledge of Ireland. In fact, we still quote some of the funny stuff that he said. Also, he was very courteous to the elderly couple on our bus who needed extra assistance. Definitely go on the tour.

Okay so the day started off a miserable rainy one , but once our tour guide Barry got on board, all of us travellers came to life! He had the bus captivated with his brilliant story telling and enthusiastic approach to his job. Once we returned from our journeys which included around 6 hours in a hot bus as it decided to climb to 32 in Cork , we where greeted by the mardigras parade which was hilarious to listen to Barry make fun of them all. All in all this is the company to go with if you want to have a great time and see it all!

My husband and I went on the Cliffs of Moher tour. We had a blast! This tour is definitely worth it! Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable! Every stop was a great experience. The Cliffs are an absolute wonder! We stopped in a town named Doolin and had the best food we've ever had. Go on a tour! You will not regret it. 🙂 We will go again!

We were in Ireland for four days, which is not nearly enough time to see the beautiful countryside. We had to choice one day tour and we choice the Blarney Stone/Cork and Cobh. We travelled in a smaller mini bus which was so much nicer and cozy compared to those huge tour coaches, Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We went to the Titanic museum in Cobh and ate lunch at a lovely pub in Cork. As with most tours your time is limited in each city but there is plenty of time at Blarney Castle to see the lovely grounds, the Blarney Stone and the shops. We would definitely do a tour with Day Tour Company on our next trip. Very reasonable prices and clean buses!

Took this tour with my wife, we went to the Cliffs of Moher. Our guide was very funny and really made us feel welcome on his tour. He was very entertaining and professional in his job. We saw the superb Cliffs of Moher - they were breathtaking. We got some really great pictures. Very much a wonderful tour! You see fine Irish countryside at its best! There was also wifi on board.

Myself and my friends, did a day trip from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher. Leaving Dublin City , it was raining and really stormy, but the nearer we got to the Cliffs it brightened up. All the way John sang to us, laughed with us and told us so many great tales of Ireland. He really made our trip worthwhile. The Cliffs were beautiful, and as the rain cleared , we could really take in the breathtaking beauty. John is an excellent guide and really is a brilliant man for the job. The day is long but worthwhile and be prepared for a long day- however it beats driving a car any day in my book! As roads in Ireland are little scary to drive from what I have seen!! I would do another tour again in a heartbeat!! Thanks for a great tour!!!!

Mike was our guide , and we went to Blarney Castle and to Cobh. Both places were very scenic and very important places in Cork according to Mike, and he was correct! Blarney was green and leafy and we kissed the stone , the castle was fantastic , with lots of steps! Cobh was pretty too. I really loved the tour. Thank you Day Tour Company for a great day, to the south of Ireland!

The bus showed up right on time, the driver (Gavin) was friendly and professional, and we enjoyed the drive and the info he gave us. We appreciated that he was on time, and that we had enough time at each place we went for us to do what we wanted to do. He was clear on when we should be back aboard, and we returned on time to our origination point. If you're looking for efficient tours in Ireland, we recommend Paddywagon.

We did the day trip from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher and it was the best tour I've ever done! Our guide, John, was fantastic, explaining the region and Irish culture and making many sightseeing stops along the way. John kept the whole bus entertained with his signing, jokes and being informative for the entire day.
